Segundo estimativas da Scholastic, editora que comercializa as obras de Harry Potter no mercado norte-americano, 8,3 milhões de cópias do sétimo livro da série teriam sido comercializadas nos Estados Unidos nas primeiras 24 horas após o lançamento. Isso torna “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” a obra com vendagem mais rápida em toda a história.
Mesmo antes do lançamento, filas de fãs se formaram em frente aos pontos de venda do produto. Todos queriam saber logo a resposta à indagação central em torno do sétimo – e último – livro da série: Quem morre no final?
No Brasil, a obra, em edições norte-americana ou britânica, já pode ser adquirida, na internet ou nas principais livrarias do país, pelo preço médio de R$65,00. O lançamento da versão em português está previsto para novembro.
